Graveside service:  11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Lee Cemetery, 996 County Road 4700, Winnsboro, Texas  75494

She leaves behind her devoted son and caregiver Philip Evans as well as brothers, Bob Evans and wife, Leia; Harrison Evans; and Tobe Evans and wife, Judy. as well as many family members who loved her.

She had some difficult times in her life, but ultimately found her servant calling.   Lucy was the consiment caregiver…helping her mother care for her father in his final years, and then caring for her mother as she battled cancer.  Losing her mom, her namesake and advocate,  was the greatest  loss in Lucy’s life.

She developed a special relationship with her brother, Harrison, following the loss of his own wife to cancer.  She called him everyday.

Bob, Leia, Harrison, Tobe and Judy want to thank Philip for his constant care and devotion to his mother as she suffered through illness in recent years.  He is truly a man of integrity.  His Nana is looking down from heaven smiling.   We wish you would join us in lifting him up as he walks through this difficult loss.  Lucy will be buried next to her mother at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, Texas.
