AZLE — Max Ludwig, loving husband, son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, at the age of 74.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at the funeral home.
Max was born Oct. 25, 1941, to Max and June Ludwig in Hennessey, Okla. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Navy. He retired from EFW as an engineer in 2005 and then moved his family to the country where he would enjoy the peacefulness it brings. His passions in life were family vacations, and sitting in the sunshine on the porch with his three “fur-babies” at his home in the country. Max was loved by many and will be deeply missed. “It is what it is,” as Max could say it best.
Max was preceded in death by father, Max D. Ludwig, who passed away in 2010.
Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Sherryl Ludwig; daughter, Amanda Arizpe and husband, Ron; daughter, Dawn Ramirez and husband, Juan; son, Max Ludwig and wife, Amber; mother, June Ludwig; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Bailey; brother, Bob Ludwig; and many friends.
