Michial “Mikey” Sanders

Fort Worth-Michial “Mikey” Sanders passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 at the age of 65.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Friday at Brown, Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Michial’s name to the charity of your choice.
Michial Dwaynne Sanders was born Feb. 6, 1953 in Grapevine, Texas to Burnis and Dorothy Sanders. He was a member of Haltom City Chapter Moose Lodge. Mikey was an avid hunter and fisherman and he will be remembered for his love of the auto races.
Survivors: Daughter, Megan Cookus and husband, Richard Jr.; sisters; Patti Roberts and Cindi Morgan; mother, Dorothy Martin; grandson, Dillion Michial Cookus; constant companion and best friend, Linda Sanders and many other extended family and friends.
