ARLINGTON-Nina Elizabeth Davis “Liz” Cole went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 29, 2018 after her decade long battle with cancer.
Funeral service: 2 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 at Marty Leonard Community Chapel, 3131 Sanguinet St., Fort Worth, Texas 76107
Visitation: visitation with the family will occur before and after the service.
Interment: A graveside service will follow at Annetta Cemetery, 2667 W Farm to Market 5, Annetta, Texas 76008

Nina Elizabeth “Liz” Davis was born on September 22, 1957 in Orange, Texas to the late Elvis and Lena Davis. Liz grew up in Beaumont, Texas, the oldest of three children. After graduating from high school, Liz attended Lamar University and later graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University. She met and married Mel Cole in 1980, and the couple raised three sons at their East Texas country home, Satroma Ranch.
Liz moved to North Texas in 2014 to better fulfil her role as “Mizzy” to her grandchildren in the Fort Worth area.
Survivors: Sons, Troy Cole and wife, Susan, of Aledo; Matt Cole and wife, Robin, and Sam Cole, all of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Cannon, Caden Brave, Charleston, and Cambria Cole; sister, Katy Crawford and husband, Jay, of Richmond, California; brother, Clark Davis and wife, Hillary, of Denver, Colorado; former spouse, Mel Cole, of Lufkin, Texas; and her four nephews.
