FORT WORTH-Orval “Lee” Sellers passed away Friday, August 14 2020 at the age of 85.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, 420 S. Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131.
Visitation: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2020 at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God.
Interment: Orval will be laid to rest with his wife, Geneva Sellers in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Orval was born November 23, 1934 to the late Homer and Ada Sellers in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended and graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He also was in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve. He was a licensed minister with the Assemblies Of God for over 30 years. He was also a Fort Worth Police Reserve officer for around 30 years also. Lee and his dad started a security company and then purchased another security company that had been in business since 1947. The two companies were merged together and continued to grow until closing them when he retired to enjoy spending time with his family. Lee was an avid runner, actively running well into his 80’s. He enjoyed running marathons while he was able to do so. Lee was an active member in the Gideon International Organization helping distribute Bibles in many venues and in several states. Lee had many wonderful times camping and hiking. He loved exploring WWII era history, visiting air shows, watching documentaries, or visiting museum exhibits. Orval was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Sister, Betty Zelmo; son, David Sellers, daughter, Patricia Justice; daughter, Karen Valenzuela; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many friends.
