PAMELLA RAYE WILSON, Nov. 02, 1946 – Nov. 8, 2022.
In loving memory of our sister, PAMELLA RAYE WILSON, who passed away at her home in River Oaks, Texas on November 8, 2022. Pamella was born on November 2, 1946, to Myron Lee and Sammie Wilson, of River Oaks, Texas. She attended Castleberry ISD and graduated in 1965. She was also a member of First Christian Church, Fort Worth, Texas.
Pamella was a rare beauty, so sweet and loved by all who knew her. She was voted most beautiful her junior year at Castleberry High School, and then again her senior year. that same year she was also voted football sweetheart.
After high school, Pamella went to work for American Airlines as an airline stewardess, and worked for them for 20 years. She was originally based in Chicago, Ill, and then San Diego, California. During her time with American she was selected as a model and was on the cover of one of their magazines; She was also selected to be one of the stewardess for Robert Kennedy, Jr. on his private airplane while running for the Democratic candidate nominee for President, before his assassination. While working as a flight attendant, Pamella traveled all over the world. She traveled all over Europe, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and her favorite, Costa Rica, just to name a few. She enjoyed seeing new places and made friends wherever she went.
Pamella was an avid animal lover from the time she was very young. She always said her pets were her children, and she adored them.
Pamella was predeceased by her father Myron Lee Wilson, and mother, Sammie Wilson. She is survived by her brother, Philip Wilson, wife Susan Wilson, sister, Debbie Hall, nephews Casey Hall, and Shelby Wilson, niece Kerstin Wilson, niece Keri Hall Volmert, husband Larry Volmert, great nephew Jackson Volmert, and great niece Penelope Volmert, many cousins, and friends, and her beloved cat Woo-Woo, and dog Pinkie.
A memorial service for Pamella will be held on November 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Owens and Brumley Family Funeral Home, 425 S. Henderson St., Fort Worth, Texas.
