Pastor (Dr.) Adesuwa Onaiwu

FORT WORTH — Pastor (Dr.) Adesuwa Onaiwu, 54, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, July 28, 2016.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Arise & Shine International Ministries, 1001 Airport Freeway, Bedford, 76021. Interment: Pastor (Dr.) Adesuwa Onaiwu will be laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park following the service.
Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at Brown, Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.
Pastor (Dr.) Adesuwa Onaiwu was the co-founder of Arise & Shine International Ministries along with Daughters of Destiny International, the women’s ministry wing of Arise & Shine. She also annually hosted and organized women’s breakfast meetings, pastor’s wives’ and women’s conferences. She was passionate about mentoring ladies both married and single to discover who they are in Christ and also empowering them with the word of God to fulfill their divine destinies. She lived an exemplary life and genuinely demonstrated the love of Christ as a wife, mother, sister, friend, mentor, motivator, intercessor and minister.
Survivors: She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Bishop Nosa Onaiwu; her children, Blessing, Blessed, Bless, Blessedness and Grace; along with a great multitude of family and friends.
