Pat Lee Blackstock

Pat Lee Blackstock,77,  passed from this life on January 23, 2024.  Pat was born in Forth Worth Texas on  August 18, 1946 and was the youngest son of Norman Floyd Blackstock and Lena  Margaret Reedy Blackstock.  Pat was proceeded in death by his Father, Mother and wife Melba Jean Blackstock.  He was survived by his children Angela Kay (Blackstock) Hamilton, (husband James Hamilton) and son Bryon Lee Blackstock, (wife Angel Blackstock).  Pat had 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Pat had a big heart and loved people.  He would help whenever or wherever needed whether it was family, friends or a complete stranger stranded on the side of the road.  Pat in return was loved by everyone who knew him. Pat became the sexton of the Pioneer Rest Cemetery (the oldest cemetery of Fort Worth) in 1975.  After 32 years of service Pat retired in 2007 due to health needs.  He was cremated and (due to his desire) there will be no service; his ashes will be scattered by his family.  He will be forever remembered by his friends and family.
