FORT WORTH — Pearl Loretta “Pearly Mae” Garnett died peacefully in her home on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Fort Worth at the age of 87.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel, Bishop Porter Perry officiating. A reception will follow and all are welcome to attend and celebrate Pearl’s life.
Pearl Loretta White was born April 18, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Jack and Irene White. She was educated in Camden and Moorestown, New Jersey. She married William Garnett, in 1947. After moving to Moorestown, New Jersey, Pearl began working for Moorestown Cleaners for more than 5 years, Burlington County Jail for 10 years and Sands Hotel and Casino for more than 5 years.
Pearl is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Irene White; sister Faith Meekins; and brother in law, Earl Meekins.
Survivors: Daughter Jacqualyne Johnson and husband, Anthony; grandson Craig Jennings and wife, Gretchen; grandson, Anthony Johnson; granddaughters, Janell Johnson, Chanell Johnson, and Indigo Johnson; great grandsons, Corbin Ray Johnson and Craig Jennings III; great granddaughter, Avery Jennings; sister, Cynthia Phillips and husband, Harold; sister, Juanita Parrish; sister, Charletta Coleman; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
