FORT WORTH — Randolph Freeman passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at the age of 79.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Friday in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.
Randolph was born May 25, 1935, in Dallas to the late Flemming and Virginia Freeman. He was a member of First United Methodist Church for many years. Randy was also a member of Fort Worth Elks (BPOE #124), Masonic Lodge, Panther City #1183, Moslah Shriners of Fort Worth and Fort Worth Sail and Power Squadron, District 21. Randy’s entire working career was in the banking business and he retired from Bank One after many years of dedicated service.
Randy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be deeply missed by all and will remain in our hearts forever.
Survivors: Wife of 55 years, Pat Freeman; daughter, Deborah Owings and husband, Jeff; daughter, Heidi Metzler and husband, Mike; son, Randolph Freeman and wife, Phoebe; grandchildren, Michael Metzler, Larry Carpenter, Tamara Carpenter, Tara Carpenter, Shane Metzler, Randolph Freeman II, Harrison Carpenter, Matthew Metzler, Amanda Metzler, Lensie Freeman and Hogan Owings; sister, Virginia Freeman; and many friends.
