Raul G. Martinez

FORT WORTH — Raul G. Martinez passed away Friday, March 7, 2014, at the age of 57.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Maria Goretti Church, 1200 S. Davis Blvd., Arlington. Inurnment: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Raul was born Feb. 17, 1957, to Reymundo G. and Paula Martinez in Big Spring. He proudly served our country by enlisting in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.
Raul was preceded in death by father, Reymundo G. Martinez; paternal grandparents, Adelaido and Eloisa; and maternal grandparents, Antonio and Margarita.
Survivors: Mother, Paula Martinez; brothers, Raymond Martinez, Fernando Martinez, Luis Martinez, Gilbert Martinez and Larry Martinez; sister, Janie Sanchez; numerous nieces and nephews.
