Richard G. Rinkenberger

FORT WORTH — Richard G. Rinkenberger passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at the age of 86.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Saturday in Brown, Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Richard was born Nov. 14, 1927, to the late Gideon and Tillie Rinkenberger in Gridley, Ill. He proudly served our country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. Richard was employed by Continental Grain of Fort Worth for 33 1/2 years. He will be forever remembered by his love for his family and the use of his talent for repairing things. He was an avid outdoorsman as well. Richard will be dearly missed by all.
Survivors: Loving wife of 62 years, Carnell Rinkenberger; son, Lonnie Rinkenberger and wife, Donna; son, Ricky Rinkenberger and wife, Julie; daughter, Susan Soules and husband, Jim; daughter, Sharon Jackson and husband, Russell; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
