Richard "Ricky" Glynn Mathis

Richard “Ricky” Glynn Mathis passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 at the age of 61.

Memorial service:  2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Terrace Acres Baptist Church, 632 N. Las Vegas Trail, White Settlement, Tx.  76108

Richard was born October 17, 1961 in Houston, Texas to the late Billy Marvin and Beatrice Reine Mathis.  He worked for the City of River Oaks and also City of Samson Park in the water department.  He love to fish, hunt and go snow skiing.

Ricky is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward “Eddie” Clay Mathis; brother, Patrick “Pat” Harold Mathis;  brother, Joseph “Jody” Marshall Mathis; aunt, Sally Mathis; uncle, David Mathis; and aunt, Stacia Ann Seagraves.

Survivors:  Brother, Bill Marvin Mathis and wife, Gay; brother, Roger Ray Mathis and wife, Cletta; uncle, Jack Mathis; uncle, Jerry Mathis and wife, Pat; aunt, Joyce Mathis; aunt, Beverly “Bell” Smith and husband, Jimmy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
