Robert Earl Summers

HALTOM CITY-Robert Earl Summers passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the age of 73.
Memorial service: To be held at a later date.
Robert was born Monday, October 28, 1946 to the late Earl and Ruby Summers in Fort Worth, Texas. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Air Force and fought in the Vietnam War. He achieved the rank of Sergeant during his military service. He loved watching all sports, old movies and especially loved the John Wayne movies. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Wife of 47 years, Maria G. Summers; daughter, Ruby DesCamps and husband, Brian; son, Robert C. Summers and wife, Kerra; son, Christopher S. Summers; granddaughter, Jillian Summers; grandson, Tanner Summers; granddaughter, Ryleigh DesCamps; granddaughter, Elizabeth DesCamps; step-granddaughter, Kerryanna Medlin; step-grandson, Patrick Medlin; numerous uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
