FORT WORTH-Robert James Mundon passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the age of 90.
INTERMENT: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery
Robert was born Thursday, January 1, 1931 to the late Catherine Irene and Carl T. Mundon in Evansville, Indiana. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps and served during World War II and the Korean War. In 1965, he married the love of his life, Alice Snow. Robert was an engineer and worked for Boeing and Lockheed Martin. Later, working for Bell Helicopter and retiring after 29 years. He enjoyed reading, cooking, watching movies-especially westerns. My fondest memory of Dad was watching him cook. Cooking was his passion and he was a great cook.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
SURVIVORS: Loving wife of 56 years, Alice Mundon; son, Drew Mundon and wife, Katie; grandson, Ryan Mundon; and granddaughter, Emily Mundon.
