Robert R. Beaty

CLEBURNE-Robert R. Beaty passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the age of 86.

Robert was born Thursday, March 15, 1934 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Shelby Ray and Aletha Inez Redden Beaty. He held a B.A. Degree in English with a Minor in Math from East Texas Baptist University. He attended Graduate School at North Texas University and studied Trusts and Estate Planning at Southern Methodist University’s School of Law. He loved writing, playing golf, camping, fishing, holiday gatherings, and just being with the family on family nights. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend and will be missed.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Angela Marie Beaty; wife, Elizabeth Ann Workman; son, Ronald Ray Beaty; daughter, Shelby Jo Richardson; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Teague; grandson, James Robert Beaty; and grandson, Michael Ryan Richardson.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Sue Walker Beaty; daughter, Sherolyn Merrick and husband, Richard; son, Charles Beaty; daughter, Jane Scharringhausen and husband, David; daughter, Lori Watson and husband, Scott; three step children; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five nephews; three nieces; and many friends.
