Rowland Brauer, age 71, passed away on August 30, 2023 in Arlington, TX.
Service and Burial for Mr. Rowland Brauer will be held on Thursday, September 14th, at 11 am at the National Cemetery in Dallas, TX with Fr. Sam Wilgus officiating.
Rowland was born in Dallas, TX on October 4th, 1951 to Albert Brauer and Eunice Malone.
Rowland graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1970 in Arlington, TX.
In 1973, Rowland joined the Navy as a photographer aboard the USS Forrestal. During this time, he enjoyed traveling and photographing his journey. After being honorably discharged in 1975, he continued his service in the Reserves until 1979.
Rowland was best known for photography and videography. He enjoyed traveling and outdoors, such as camping, hiking, visiting National Parks such as Big Bend. He loved his family and showed up for each of us in different ways.
Rowland is survived by Janis Beasley - sister, Karen Morton - sister, Brenda Taylor - niece and husband Steve, Shane Garrett - nephew, Chad Garrett - nephew, Andrew Beasley - nephew, Phillip Beasley - nephew, Laura Mendoza - niece. Hayley Oliver - great niece and husband Hayden, Jordan Mendoza - great niece, Christian Mendoza - great nephew, Hayden Oliver Jr. - great great nephew, Rebecca Burgos - great great niece, Hazel Oliver - great great niece, Matthias Burgos - great great nephew, Helena Oliver - great great niece, Mike Beasley - brother-in-law.
He was preceded in death by Albert Brauer (Father), Eunice Malone (Mother), Curtis Beasley (Nephew), Nathan Beasley (Nephew).
