FORT WORTH-Sarah Ybarra passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the age of 86.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 1 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane one.
VISITATION: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at the funeral home.
Sarah was born March 6, 1934 to the late Eliseo and Anita Gauna Espinosa in Slaton, Texas. After Sarah graduated from high school she attended the Mexican Baptist Bible Institute in San Antonio, Texas. She also attended Hallmark Baptist Church for the last three years. Her husband, Guillermo was a pastor for over 50 years and she served as a faithful pastor’s wife. She loved spending time with her brothers and sisters and going on their annual trips to different places. She also enjoyed going to thrift stores and playing her favorite game of Wahoo with her daughters and sisters. She liked to be out shopping and visiting lifelong friends whenever she had the opportunity to. She was also known for her green Jell-o salad that she took to the family reunions. Sarah was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 54 years, Guillermo Ybarra; sisters, Corine Flanagan, Eve Carpenter and Benita Cisneros; and brothers, Adiel Espinosa and Jim Espinosa.
SURVIVORS: Son, David Ybarra; daughter, Debi Mojica and husband, Elias; daughter, Dianne Ybarra; son, Bill Ybarra; daughter, Yvette Dooling; grandsons, Daniel (Heather)Ybarra, Jonah Mojica and Merrick Dooling; granddaughters, Kristen Mallett, Erika Ybarra, Brittany Ybarra, Natalia Ybarra, Deborah (Steven)Sanchez, Arianna Ybarra and Jessica Ybarra; great granddaughters, Aurora Morgan, Alexis Ybarra and Evellie Sanchez; great grandsons, Ayden Ybarra, Jacob Brinegar and Austin Ybarra; sisters, Naomi Hunt, Ruth (Joe) DeLeon, Anita (Hector) Gomez, Elizabeth Carr and Margaret Gonzales; brothers, Moses Espinosa and Adam Espinosa.
