Sharon Reeves Watson (1936 – 2013)

Sharon Reeves Watson passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at the age of 77, surrounded by her loving family. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Interment: Sharon will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Donald Alton Watson, in Benbrook Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Sharon was born Jan. 25, 1936, to the late E.B. and Eunice Fay Reeves in McCullough County. Sharon graduated from C.F. Brewer High School in 1954. She attended American Business College Institute. She was a member of Westworth Church of Christ for many years. Sharon had two children of her own and was a mother figure to many. She watched and helped raise over 20 children throughout her life. Sharon was full of life and loved her family. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Alton Watson; and sister, Virginia Williams. Survivors: Daughters, Donna Ostrosky and Amy Watson; granddaughter, Stephanie Ostrosky; grandson, Jordon Watson; brother, Larry Reeves and wife, Traunsa; sister, Arlene Box and husband, Johnny; brother-in-law, Wendell Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
