FORT WORTH — Sonya Jackson Grubb passed away Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at the age of 48.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Friday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Chapel, Pastor Jason Williams officiating. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Sonya was born Aug. 30, 1966, to Wayne and Wilda Jackson in Fort Worth. She graduated from Everman High School in 1984 and later became a registered nurse. Sonya was an outdoors person who loved hunting, fishing and golf. Among other things she loved was Halloween, including haunted houses and fireworks. Sonya loved life and lived it to the fullest every day with family and friends. She was a remarkable person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors: Daughter, Shelby Grubb; mother, Wilda Snowden and husband, Steve; father, Wayne Jackson; brother, Brad Jackson; sister, Stephanie Collinsworth and husband, Ken; partner, Janie L. Hutton; nephews, Mason and Brady; niece, Morgan; numerous extended family members; and many, many friends.
