Susan Carole Forshey

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — Susan Carole Forshey, 67, of North Richland Hills went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016.

Carole was born on Feb. 1, 1948, in Houston to Leo Hadley Forshey Sr. and Marjorie Lucille Morrison. She grew up in Missouri and Texas and graduated from Clear Creek High School in League City. She attended Southwest Texas State University, and she was in the sorority Chi Omega. She became a flight attendant for Braniff International Airlines and was based out of Dallas. She enjoyed skiing, sailing, running marathons, endurance racing, sewing, making jewelry, work and play on computers, and, of course, loved to spoil her dogs. On Dec. 27, 1969, she married Ivars Andris Rudzitis in Toronto, Canada, and they were blessed with two daughters. Carole and Ivars were divorced in 1979. Carole lived in Toronto, Canada, California, Colorado and back to Texas. She worked as an accountant and business manager for several companies. She had a very strong faith in the Lord Jesus, our Savior, and was a member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church. Carole was preceded in death by her parents and an older sister, Michal Ann Flanagan Perry.
Survivors: She is survived by her daughters, Brittany Suzanne Rudzitis Patin and husband, Jerry, and Dana Lori Rudzitis; grandchildren, Madalyn Danielle Patin, Mason Dylan Patin and Samuel Alexander Rudzitis-Moya; brothers, Leo Hadley Forshey, Fred Forshey and Jim Flanagan; and her older sister, Beth Flanagan Maxie.
