The Newsome Family

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the tragic passing of Daniel Newsome, his beloved wife Johanna Newsome, and their sons, Jorge Rivera and Luis Magailanes, who left this world together on October 27, 2024, in a car accident. Their lives, though tragically cut short, left a lasting impact on everyone who knew them, filling countless hearts with deep sorrow.

Daniel  Newsome, age 28, was born on April 5, 1996. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Daniel’s love and kindness touched all who crossed his path. 

Johanna Newsome, age 29, born on July 18, 1995, was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was known for her gentle spirit, unwavering compassion, and boundless love for her family. 

Jorge Rivera, age 12, born on July 30, 2012, was a bright and caring young boy with a heart full of dreams. Jorge was known for his curiosity and love for learning. He brought joy to his family with his playful spirit and warm smile. 

Luis Magallanes, age 9, born on November 29, 2014, was a joyful and spirited young boy. He loved sharing his boundless energy with everyone around him. Luis looked up to his older brother Jorge and shared a close bond with him. 

The Newsome family’s sudden loss leaves a void in the lives of all who knew and loved them. Their memories, full of love, laughter, and joy, will forever remain in our hearts. Their passing is a reminder of the preciousness of life and the importance of cherishing each moment with loved ones.

A memorial service honoring their lives will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Brown Owens & Brumley's Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
