Timothy Michael Farley (Tim)

Timothy Michael Farley (Tim) went home to be with his beloved Lord and Savior on June 30, 2022 at the age of 81 surrounded by his family. Tim was born to Joseph and Mildred Farley on June 30, 1941 in Hempstead, Long Island, New York. Tim moved to Mineral Wells in 1975. He loved Texas and said he couldn’t get here fast enough.
Tim graduated from Hempstead High School in Hempstead, NY on June 22, 1959. He also attended an art school in New York City and earned an Associate’s Degree in Art.
As a teenager his favorite pastime was rebuilding engines for his cars. Tim was a gun enthusiast. He had a love for shooting his guns. Tim’s pastime as an adult was casting his own bullets, competitive shooting matches and he was currently modifying a rifle for long range shooting. Tim was a member of the Texas State Rifle Association and Brazos River Gun Club.
Tim worked for Philips Components in New Jersey and Mineral Wells for 25 + years in various management positions. Tim and Frances met at work and became friends. Years later they went on their first date on March 15, 1991. Tim then married his soulmate, Frances on March 15, 1996. After Philips Components he went on to work at the Mineral Wells Box Factory as a supervisor, and Dralco in Weatherford as purchasing manager. He and Frances retired in 2014.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Farley and Mildred Bry and his brother, Merrick Farley.
Tim is survived by his wife Frances; his sister, Beth Ann Faulkner and husband Gary; daughters, Carolyn Mouton and husband Matt, and Cynthia Plumlee and fiancé Clay Milner; and grandchildren Olivia Mouton and Eli Mouton.
Most of all he loved his Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. Tim’s ministry was sending out devotionals every morning to friends and family.
Tim’s Celebration of Life will be held on July 26, 2022 at the First Baptist Church, 100 S.W. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, TX 76067 at 11:00am.
