FORT WORTH-Travis Michael Montemayor passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at the age of 45.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Hurst, Tx.
Travis Michael Montemayor, who would have you believe he was born in Texas, was actually born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on July 29, 1975. Travis was an only child but over his lifetime his incredible heart earned him a family far and wide. He was an amazing father to his beautiful twin daughters, he was a proud momma’s boy and the apple of his parents’ eyes. Travis also has four stepchildren who became just like his own. He took on the responsibility when no other father of theirs would and he wore that badge of honor without blinking an eye. He always kept in close touch with his many friends and coworkers because his heart was just too big to keep all of that love to himself. Travis dedicated his heart and his life to making sure everyone around him was doing okay. Although Travis may have looked intimidating, behind the scenes he was a marshmallow. He was the most gentle, giving, selfless, loving and loyal husband to his wife and best friend. We are saddened beyond belief and will treasure him for all the days to come.
