Victoria Fuentes Sanchez

FORT WORTH-Victoria Fuentes Sanchez passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at the age of 90.
Victoria was born June 15, 1931 to the late Benjamin and Guadalupe Bustos Fuentes in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Aledo High School, class of 1949. She worked at John L. Ashe Men’s Clothing Store for almost 40 years, and retired in 1996. Victoria loved traveling with Sergio (Elias) to visit her family in Los Angeles and after visiting them, they would drive on to Las Vegas, Nevada to try their luck in the casinos. She loved gambling, cooking, reading, music, dancing and having family over for BBQ’s or making huge breakfasts for everyone on Sunday mornings. Victoria always looked her best; hair salon, clothes, perfume, and having an impeccable manicure was always a must. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend and will be deeply missed.
Victoria is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elias Sergio Sanchez; son, Lawrence Rodriguez; and son, Steven Rodriguez.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Vanessa Bowers and husband, James; grandson, Reuben Rodriguez; great granddaughter, Gabrielle Rodriguez; great-great granddaughter, Gianna Rodriguez; sisters, Johnnie, Sally, Frances and Cindy and husband, Leonard; brothers, David and wife, Pat, Ray and wife, Angie, Lupe and wife, Francis and Ben Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews.
