Virginia Case Helmstetler

HURST-Virginia Case Helmstetler passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the age of 77.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2022 at the funeral home.
INTERMENT: Virginia will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery.
Virginia was born February 18, 1945 to the late John and Alice Case in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She moved to Roswell, New Mexico in July of 1963 where she met the “Love of her Life”, Bill. They were married on October 17, 1963 and of that union are seven children. She also accepted Jesus as her Savior in October of 1963 and depended on him for strength throughout the rest of her life. When she walked into a room, she brought love and laughter to everyone. She was a loving and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Case.
SURVIVORS: Husband of 58 years, Bill Helmstetler; daughter, Paula Richard; daughter, Pamela Sanders; son, Steven Helmstetler and wife, Jill; son, Robert Helmstetler and wife, Holly; son, Travis Helmstetler and wife, Anna; son, Billy Helmstetler and wife, Julie; daughter, Patricia Patterson and husband, Gary; sister, Naomi Childress; brother, Newt Case; and numerous friends.
