Virginia Vickers McIlheran

FORT WORTH–Virginia Vickers McIlheran passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the age of 79.
Memorial service: 3 p.m. Saturday at All Saints Episcopal Church.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of Texas or a charity of choice.
Virginia was born on January 14, 1939 and was married happily to Dr. George Colyar McIlheran of Fort Worth for 53 years. She was a wonderful mother, very active and loved to play tennis and loved those dear friends with whom she played it. She loved to travel and special trips were always to visit her daughter and son in law in Germany.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. George McIlheran Jr.; and son, George McIlheran III.
Survivors: Daughter, Sallie Wunner and husband, Johannes; numerous nieces, nephews and other close family members.
