FORT WORTH-Walter Orval White passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the age of 72.
Visitation: 2p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Interment: Walter will be laid to rest in a private burial at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Walter’s honor to the American Diabetes Association.
Walter was born Tuesday, June 17, 1947 to the late Leroy and Florence White in Newark, New Jersey. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Army from June 1964 until January 1967. He had a career as a truck driver until his son was born and then became a heating and air conditioning technician and also a plumber until retiring. His favorite pastimes include scuba diving and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Walter is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Leroy White.
Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Mildred White; son, Scott White and wife, Kiley; granddaughter, Alexis; grandson, Tyler; granddaughter, Paisley; grandson, Koleman; great-granddaughter, Aubree; brother, Dennis White; brother, Roger White and wife, Mary; nieces, Diane Kimbel and Karen White; nephews, Roger White and Michael White; step-daughter, Janet Schall; and many friends.
