William Hiram Locke

William Hiram Locke of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on October 2, 2022. He was born November 3, 1940, in Gorman, Texas, preceded in death by parents Claude Hiram and Dortha Mae Locke and sister Ann Sadberry of DeLeon, Texas. He is survived in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Patsy Ann Locke, Formerly of Gorman, Texas, and brother Jack, of The Colony, and Joe, of DeLeon; and leaves behind two daughters, Dana Locke and Kristen Somerville, and their spouses, Susan Keenan and David Somerville, as well as three grandchildren, Chloe and Michael Somerville and Kinyon Hubbard. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1969, then began his work in the oil business for Gulf Oil in Port Arthur, Texas, and concluded his career with Union Pacific Resources company as VP of Human Resources and Safety and Loss Control in 1994. William was a former member of Shady Oaks Country Club and a lifelong member of Texas Exes. He was an excellent father, husband, grandfather, and man; and will truly be missed by all.
