Opal Ruth Chalker

FORT WORTH — Opal Ruth Chalker passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016 at the age of 87.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Friday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. prior to service.
Opal was born to the late James and Cora Miller in Paris, Tx. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister and will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Son, James Chalker and wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Vicki Dodd and husband, Dennis; brother, Jerry Miller; sister, Lillie Mae Dobbins; grandchildren, Jamie Champion, Amos Chalker and Heather Chalker; great grandchildren, Garrett Champion, Landon Champion, Hayden Champion, Brook Chalker and Hannah Filby.
