
FORT WORTH- Patricia Hiett, formerly of El Paso, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at the age of 73.

Patricia was born Tuesday, October 15, 1946 to Raymond and Eleanor Souply in Charleroi, Pennsylvania. She was easy to laugh and loved helping others especially those who needed a leg-up. She had a soft spot for the underdog and was a great conversationalist. Patricia provided a place for her sons and their friends to feel at home and they always felt welcomed. She loved reading Arthurian Tales, Egyptian Pharaohs and Shakespeare. She also liked arts and crafts. She was a high school English teacher who prided herself on treating her students like they were her own. She will be deeply missed.
SURVIVORS: Son, Matt Hiett and wife, Alice; son, Scott Hiett and wife, Sara; son, Brett Hiett and wife, Tiffany; grandchildren, Joshua Hiett, Ian Hiett, Haley Cook, Devon Cook, and Tuesday Hiett; great grandchildren, Eila Hiett, Riley Hiett and Oliver Hiett; and many friends.

Sorry to hear about Pat’s passing. I knew she had been ill for quite some time. So happy she was able to move to Fort Worth and be close to her family and they were able to love on her . Sending hugs and love to her sons and their families. Know she will be greatly missed by all.
