
Fort Worth – Ricky Tyron Norris passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 64.
Celebration of Life: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021 at The Ramp Church of Texas at 5430 Miller Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76119.
Ricky was born December 4, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas. A life time resident of Fort Worth, he graduated from Poly High School in 1975 and was employed with Ol’ South Pancake House for over 30 years. Ricky loved entertaining and socializing. He loved to cook and feed everyone, so he would invite friends and family over for a barbecue. Often times these gatherings would be to doing other things he enjoyed like playing basketball and pool, watching football, listening to old school music or dancing. One of the best things he was known for was loving on his grandkids. He will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Norris; step-father, Ernest Scott; grandmothers, Arntha Washington and Jeri Richardson; and grandfather, Paul Richardson.
Survivors: His loving wife of 33 years, Elaine Norris; son, Spenser Norris; son, Christopher Parks and wife, Brentney; daughter, Mackenzie Norris and husband, Donnie; mother, Katy Scott; grandsons, Cameron Scott, Isaiah Norris, Spenser J. Norris, Hezekiah Norris, Santana Gandy and Chandler Parks; granddaughters, Zuri Norris and Gabrielle Parks; sisters, Kathleen Hall, Henrietta Collins and husband, Ellis, LaTunya Wheatfall and husband, Cedric, Shawon White and husband, Gary and Amanda Wright; step-sister, Andrea Norris; step-brother, Groszeberry Scott, a host of nieces and nephews and many other extended family and friends.
