Robert (Bob) Joseph Tribunella

FORT WORTH–Robert (Bob) Joseph Tribunella, 68, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 7, 2018 after an extended illness.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel, 425 S. Henderson St., Fort Worth.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Universal Hospice, 5651 Bridge St., Fort Worth, TX, 76112
Bob was born on June 23, 1949 in Derby, CT to Joseph and Antonette (Criscuolo) Tribunella. He lived in the “Valley” for many years before relocating to the DFW area later in life. Bob was an accomplished master auto mechanic early in his career and in later years was a Service Manager for several Dodge dealerships in CT. When he and his family moved to DFW he worked for Warrantech Automotive and later, Home Depot.
Bob served in the Coast Guard Reserves from 1969-1975. In June 1973, he married Diana Maler and together they raised three wonderful daughters, Jaimie, Kristy and Lisa. Bob was an avid woodworker and the quality of his work is still seen today in the furniture he built. He was the quintessential handy-man; there was not anything that he couldn’t fix! Bob was also known for his “green thumb”. His dry humor was a delight to all that knew him. He was loved by all who knew him, especially his children and grandchildren. He will be forever missed.
A special thanks to the wonderful caregivers at Walls Universal Hospice and the staff of Fresenius Medical Care in Fort Worth.
Bob is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Tribunella; and brother, Joseph R. Tribunella.
Survivors: Wife of 45 years, Diana Tribunella; his 3 daughters and 9 grandchildren, Jaimie Badough (Danny) of McKinney, Tx. and their children, Ryan, Alexandra and Katherine; Kristy Schoenberg (Mark) of Lake Worth, FL and their children, Melanie and Ashleigh; Lisa Joseph (Mike) of Southbury, CT and their children, Michael, Abbigail, Sara and Benjamin; mother, Antonette Tribunella of Port Ritchie, FL; sisters, Dorothy Scavone of Shelton, CT; Nancy Berg of Port Ritchie, FL; and his especially loved pets, Lucy, one of the many pets he and his wife had.

I miss you terribly…. but I know that you are flying with the angels and keeping watch over me from above. I’m so happy that you are finally free of all the pain and can do everything you want to again! You were my first hero and taught me what a man should be like. You’ll always be in my heart… I love you so much❤
