
ARLINGTON-Sharon Kay Moore passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the age of 52.

Sharon was born August 12, 1968 to the late Vernon and Faye Grooms in Lawton, Oklahoma. She graduated from Grand Prairie High School and then attended American Business College in Lawton, Oklahoma. She worked at TSR, Call Solutions, Novo 1, and Dialog Direct for over 20 years. She was a leader and volunteer for 10 years with the Girl Scouts of America and a community volunteer in Venus, Texas. She loved to do research on her ancestry, sewing, crocheting, managing her siblings, devoted reader and a puzzle master. Our fondest memories of Sharon are the times and adventures of Cathy Graham and Junior, all her photos; but especially the most recent of Jared and Brice, hot air balloon rides and the penny toss at the Red River. She was a loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend and will be missed.
Sharon is preceded in death by her mother, Faye Atchison Sheppard; step-father, Delbert Sheppard; father, Vernon Grooms; and niece, Tiffany Sheppard.
SURVIVORS: brother, Vernon Moore; sister, Janice Sheppard; sister, Regina Broughton; nephew, Matthew Broughton; niece, Callie Broughton; niece, Krystal Matthews and husband, Wayde; niece, Trisha Beck and husband, Evan; cousin, Terry Howell and wife, Cheryl; cousin, Kelly Howell and spouse Darryl Hutson; cousin, Lynn Richoux and husband, Melvin; cousin, Lois Pflueger; niece, Patty Sheppard; niece, Jory Berg and husband, Chase; nephew, Justin Sheppard; nephew, Jerrett Sheppard; nephew, Cody Sheppard and wife, Courtney; great nephews, Jared Gorda, Brice Gorda, Kaden Broughton, and Kolton Broughton; and numerous friends.
