Sokhom Um

FORT WORTH — Sokhom Um passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at the age of 70.
Celebration of life: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Sokhom was born Jan. 1, 1946, to the late Chung and Sun Um in Cambodia. She was a faithful employee for Cook Children’s Hospital for 35 years. Sokhom was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed by all.
Survivors: Husband of 54 years, Sophal Keo; son, Bunthan Keo and wife, Heng Ochkeo; daughter, Phon Keo and husband, Chhay San; daughter, Sokhon Gonzalez and husband, Jesse; daughter, Sokhan Solis and husband, Reydesel; daughter, Sokhim Keo; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many friends.
