Steven Lee Jensen

FORT WORTH — Steven Lee Jensen passed away peacefully Sunday, April 19, 2015, at the age of 74.
Celebration of life: 4 p.m. Friday at West Side Campus of Care, 1950 Las Vegas Trail, Fort Worth.
Steven was born Aug. 15, 1940, to the late Leo and Anna Jensen in Salt Lake City, Utah. After graduating from High School, Steven played minor league baseball in the Dodgers’ organization. He proudly served our country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. He attended Texas Western College (University of Texas-El Paso) during the season when the men’s basketball team won the 1966 NCAA National Championship. He worked for the Corps of Engineers and was also in the Army Reserves. Steven ran the Liberty Stamp Shop for two years before his health made working full time a difficult task. He was well respected by many and will be certainly missed by us all.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 32 years, Patricia Jensen; and brothers, Jim Jensen and Ray Jensen.
Survivors: Stepson, James Foley; and his many friends at West Side Campus of Care and Westchester Plaza.
