Teela Deelee Hickey

FORT WORTH-Teela Deelee Hickey passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the age of 37.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 2 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the home of Jimmy & Vanessa.
Teela was born Friday, November 16, 1984 to Larry Alan Hickey and Jodie Eva Banks in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Castleberry Elementary School, Northwest Classen High School and Western Heights High School. She worked at Walmart as a retail customer service representative. She loved reading, working puzzles, video games and animals. Teela was a wonderful warm, kind loving and most beautiful woman and a blessing to anyone who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Teela is preceded in death by her mother, Jodie Eva Banks and maternal grandparents, Floyd and Dorthy Banks.
SURVIVORS: Husband of 20 years, Matthew Leighton; father, Larry A. Hickey and wife, Tonya; paternal grandparents, Harless and Dorthy Hickey; brother, Christopher Hickey; brother, Richard Hickey and spouse, Nicki Largent; brother, Derek Hickey and wife, Lisa; brother, Alexander Hickey; sister, Victoria Stone; sister, Elizabeth Stone; nephew, Christian Hickey; niece, Jinorah Stone; father in law and mother in law, Scott and Susan Leighton; brother in law, Garrett Leighton; sister in law, Kristy Hall; and numerous friends.
