Thomas Jones Sr.

FORT WORTH — Thomas Jones Sr. passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the age of 90.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Interment: Thomas will be laid to rest in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Thomas was born to the late Levi and Ruth Jones on Dec. 16, 1924, in Mart. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. Thomas retired from the U.S. Postal Service after many dedicated years of service. He was well respected and will be deeply missed by us all.
Survivors: Son, Thomas Jones Jr. and wife, Barbara; daughter, Dr. Lynda Mubarak and husband, Dr. Kairi; granddaughter, Sabrina Creque; great-granddaughters, Jhada Mims and Camille Creque; great-great-grandchildren, Mercorie Creque, Jada Creque, Antonio Eiland, Dedrie Johnson and Carsynn Mims; and many friends.
