I had the pleasure of working with Tom for a short time. I really enjoyed talking with him and sharing our personal and professional life experiences. He was a smart man, a seasoned and true aviation professional and passionate about the work he did. He will be missed very much.

My thoughts are of you Pamala, Tom rarely missed a phone call when he’d say “Doug I got to go Pam a calling me for supper”. He always talked of you. He is a great friend, mentor, wordsmith, all knowing one, leader of leaders, and the only manager I ever liked. Fair yes usually but yes…wisdom from him went like this “Doug I may not always be right but I am always the boss and that trumps everything”
Or “don’t get wrapped around the axle” my favorite is “Obama saluted with a cup of cofefe can you believe that you voted for him”? He is truly one of the good guys.
All my thoughts for you Pam….
Very Respectfully,

Doug Scott
(I was the new quality mngr. in Lake Charles, Tom was my boss and became a great mentor, I am very glad and feel fortunate to have him show me the ropes of management. Love ya Tom)

Tom was family to us and I think of him often. I worked for Tom for several years and I miss talking with him. I hope to meet and work together on the other side, I know that he’s waiting to say “okay Vic here’s what I need”. Lol. Gods blessings on his family. Love y’all.
