Tracey Jo Huddleston Winnett

WAXAHACHIE – Tracey Jo Huddleston Winnett passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the age of 62 after a long and courageous battle against ovarian cancer.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Joplin, Missouri 64804
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
Tracey was born Thursday, November 26, 1959 in Joplin, Missouri to the late James Huddleston and Connie Huddleston Rubottom (nee Rutherford). She attended and graduated from Parkwood High School, Class of 1978. Tracey spent most of her life as a mortgage officer in St. Louis, Missouri, and serving as a member of various community organizations. She was a wheel-in-motion, constantly searching out her next entrepreneurial project. Tracey was a natural caregiver, always with an open heart to help others. She cared for several “bonus kids” over her life, including a young veteran, Destiny Swearingen, for almost 15 years. Offering a home to those who needed it was a core value of who she was. Whether it was “grabbing a bowl of chips and a Coke” to enjoy some quality time with those she loved, to snuggling with her grandchildren, Tracey and her infectious laughter will be missed by us all.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Tim LaMarr; Sister Lee Ann Robertson and husband Rob; Son Michael Bell and wife, Madison; Daughter Camara Karamatic and husband, Jason and their sons Brent, Beck and Logan; Daughter Leanna Bell; Son Aaron Winnett and wife, Ashley.
