
FORT WORTH-Willie James Allen passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at the age 49.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Brown, Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Willie was born Thursday, February 18, 1971 to Roosevelt Hayes and Nellie (Logan) Allen in Chicago, Illinois. Willie proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Navy. Willie graduated from ITT Tech with a BS in mechanical engineering. He was a huge fan of the New Orleans Saints. During his younger years, basketball was his sport of choice. Willie loved to smile and make others around him smile. He was always willing to help others, no matter the commitment, he loved to help. Most of all, Willie dearly loved his family and they were the most important thing in his life. He will be deeply missed and remain in our hearts forever.
Willie is preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Logan Allen; and daughter, Talisha Allen.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Tamika Allen; son, Kasey Allen; son, D’Montae Turner; daughter, Alyssia Celochia; daughter, Kira Harrell; daughter, Kamryn Allen; brothers, Roosevelt Allen and Marvin Allen; sisters, Katina Allen and Mary Allen; and numerous friends.
